How to manage arthritis and how to manage the pain of arthritis. 
Everyone has some osteoarthritis (arthritis in our bones) by the age of 40, but we start having symptoms by about the age of 60.  This session will  explain what arthritis is, how to cope with it and how to feel better with it. 
The focus will be on osteoarthritis with a some information on inflammatory arthritis.  



   Joan Altman has been a registered nurse for more than 35 years and in her current role at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
She has made frequent presentations on this and other topics.
