For a three-session talk on Politics 101
Ben will explain how things work and how you get things done
- Session 1: Local politics and general political processes which will include:
- Political process, including party governance (like county committee), money in politics and the history of the American political system.
- Local politics and “How to get your sidewalks fixed”
- Session 2: Legislative work which will include:
- Pork-barreling; gerrymandering.
- Congressional legislative process including how bills get introduced, lobbying, voting, filibuster, reconciliation.
- Session 3: Important Federal powers which will include:
- FISA
- Defense production act
- Financial trading controls
- Control of the money supply
- Vaccine mandates
Ben has been a grassroots organizer, digital strategist, and fundraiser since 2007.
Since the 2016 Presidential Election, he has been dedicating his time to teaching as many people as possible the skills of activism and empowering existing organizations with his knowledge of the insider tools for political power.
