For over 50 years, volunteers have been serving New York City communities through AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP. The program matches adults aged 55 and older with meaningful volunteer opportunities at nonprofit organizations based on their skills, interest, and availability. Our personalized touch will help you find the right volunteer opportunity.
WHAT DO ANERICORPS SENIORS RSVP VOLUNTEERS DO?
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP volunteers are superheroes! Volunteers meet the critical needs of their communities by serving in RSVP's partner organizations located throughout the five boroughs including soup kitchens, food pantries, hospitals and health care facilities, educational settings, coMmunity-based organizations, cultural institutions, and more. Volunteers prepare, package. and deliver meals; tutor and mentor youth; counsel people on public benefits and small business operations; provide companionship to isolated and homebound individuals; and much more.

Anthony D. Incarnato is currently a Volunteer Manager for AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program in New York. He has spent the past decade in non-profits helping to train, retain, promote and recruit volunteers for various programs that support our veterans and military families, disaster work, tutoring children and helping with food insecurity to name a few.
