Cognitive changes are a natural part of aging, but knowing when those changes may signal something more serious can make all the difference. In this informative and reassuring session, geriatrics expert, Dr. Tina Sadarangani, will help you understand the spectrum of cognitive decline from normal forgetfulness to conditions like mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- How to recognize early signs of cognitive decline and when to seek medical advice
- The value of early intervention
- The latest approaches to diagnosis, management, and care
- How to support a loved one experiencing cognitive decline while caring for yourself, too
Led by Tina Sadarangani. An advisor to Sidekick Concierge, Tina is an Assistant Professor and NIH-funded Principal Investigator at New York University. She holds a PhD and completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on older adults and is a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of clinical experience. A passionate advocate for family caregivers, Tina created a mobile app, CareMobi, to help families keep track of their loved one’s health
