Walking Tour of Sunset Park
by the NYC Park Rangers
Enjoy the memorable views from Sunset Park,
on Brooklyn's second highest hill.
Then, discover the unique Finnish community that thrived around the Park,
until the 1950s. At historic Beaux Arts buildings, we'll learn how Finntown,
an immigrant neighborhood of 20,000, established America's first
non-profit worker housing co-operative.
Note: some stairs and one steep hill.
Restroom and benches in the Park.
