Flying High: Bird Migration with
the Park Rangers
Over 200 bird species choose our local park for their different types of migration. As we watch,
we'll learn how they prepare their bodies, and find clues in nature for the best departure time.
What helps them choose the adaptations they'll make this season?
How do they cope with the dangers of their NY stopover?
The Rangers will describe the birds' distinctly varied lives and travels.
Approximately 2 miles. Route includes hills, some stairs, and unpaved uneven trails.
The Rangers will bring some binoculars, but please bring your own if you have.
Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather.
Bring water.
Cost is $10 per person and is non-refundable.
Please pay with a credit card when you register.
