GOOD NEIGHBORS OF PARK SLOPE

E-Blast for Sept 14, 2019

Please excuse the look of this e-blast but our regular person is on vacation.

Good Neighbors of Park Slope is an all-volunteer, member-driven organization.

All events and activities come from YOU, our members. If you would like to help create a group/activity/event,
please contact andi.gnps@gmail.com and we can help make it happen.

Groups only happen if members initiate!

There has been some confusion over the Social Activism Interest group and the GNPS Advocacy Committee. The GNPS Advocacy Committee is advocating in support of issues relevant to our mission as an aging-in-place organization. Meetings are held monthly and are on the calendar.  We welcome your input at our meetings and welcome you to register and join us on Sept 18,. The Social Activism interest group is a member-to-member email list where our member can notify other interested members about social activism and political events that they are involved with. Social Activism is not sponsored by Good Neighbors of Park Slope but is a way for our member to share their activism with other members.

New interests and categories have been added to the Activities Overview page. Please check out this page of the website and add your name to the categories of interest to you. If your name is on the list, you will be notified when events are scheduled on those topics. If you wait to find out about it on the eblast, you may be closed out!

Check out  Community Announcements for new and exciting events happening in our neighborhood and new volunteer opportunities on and coming to our Helping Our Community Page (Reading Partners/American Cancer Society) . You can check on the home page to see when updates are made on each page.
