Many people live with pain on a regular basis. In this session we will discuss what pain is and how pain triggers work in the mind. We review typical medications as well as other interventions, both medical and non-medical including physical therapy treatments, positioning, ice, heat, massage and acupuncture. We also talk about the mind and how the way we think can impact our pain. We will end with a short guided meditation which can help to relax and may relieve pain.
