A history and culture walking tour of Central Greenwich Village,
covering the Dutch Colonial Era to the present.
REVA COOPER, a licensed tour guide (web site: www.heartofnyculture.com) and
Good Neighbors member, will do her final free summer public walking tour of central Greenwich Village, east to west, on Saturday September 14:
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 11:30 AM
MEETING PLACE: St. Marks Church in the Bowery (in the little plaza in front of the church)
10th Street and Second Avenue
Manhattan
I’ll be there with a sign, “Village Alliance Tours,” from 11:15 AM on (you can’t miss me). I go out rain or shine. The walk takes about an hour and 45 minutes, and we’ll stop at historical and cultural sites along the route (all in the shade).
We end by the public garden of the Jefferson Market Library, 10th Street and 6th Avenue, across the street from the IND subway and many restaurants.
No reservations necessary, just come!
