Volunteer in Prospect Park The Prospect Park Alliance has reached out to GNPS and other community groups to help care for our wonderful park. Here is some information. If you would like to participate, please register for this event. Park Pitch-In: City of Forest Day On City of Forest Day, volunteers will participate in a citywide effort to care for our green spaces with brooms, shovels, rakes and trash grabbers. Here at Prospect Park we'll be focusing our efforts on Lookout Hill with some cleaning, path maintenance and woodland restoration. Saturday, October 15, 10 AM - 1 PM Prospect Park Alliance is the non-profit organization that sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park, Brooklyn's Backyard, in partnership with the City of New York. The Alliance provides critical staff and resources that keep the park green and vibrant for the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home.
