No long term commitment - unless you want to! 826NYC is an education nonprofit focused on supporting students as they develop their creative and expository writing skills. We operate a variety of different programs across New York City, with our main center being located right here in Park Slope. There, we have an after-school tutoring program where students work on reading and writing skills as well as on their homework. We also have workshops and field trips at that location. We are looking for volunteers who want to volunteer on an informal basis, as well as those looking to make a long-term commitment.
