Volunteer in Prospect Park The Prospect Park Alliance has reached out to GNPS and other community groups to help care for our wonderful park. Here is some information. If you would like to participate, please register for this event. We GNPS volunteers will work together as a group on that day. National Trails Day, Saturday, June 3, Lookout Hill Prospect Park is home to several miles of trails throughout its 250 acres of woodlands. Join Prospect Park Alliance on National Trails Day to help support and care for our trails system on this national day of service. Volunteers will support trails on Lookout Hill, by mulching and widening trails to ensure safe and easy access. Volunteers may also assist with other tasks, such as litter removal, path edging and more. Saturday, June 3rd, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Prospect Park Alliance is the non-profit organization that sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park, Brooklyn's Backyard, in partnership with the City of New York. The Alliance provides critical staff and resources that keep the park green and vibrant for the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home.
