Good Neighbors of Park Slope

OUR PURPOSE

Good Neighbors of Park Slope (GNPS) is an all volunteer, non-profit, aging-in-place organization, open to residents of Park Slope and surrounding areas who are age 50 and over. Our goal is to create a network of members to make life in our neighborhood easier and more fulfilling, while maintaining our autonomy and quality of life in our homes.

OPENING RECEPTION for the
GNPS GROUND FLOOR GALLERY ART SHOW
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd

Two GNPS members, Suzanne Jasper and Deborah Wheaton, will be part of a group art show.

 

 

When: Opening Reception, March 8th, 5pm – 7pm (Refreshments will be served.)

             Exhibition, Five Voices, March 8th – April 28th

Where: South Slope Local Café (formerly known as Uptown Roasters)

               355 Seventh Avenue, (between 10th and 11th Streets)

Who:    Suzanne Jasper and Deborah Wheaton

What: Five Voices, a painting, collage and mixed media exhibition of five Brooklyn women, all of whom studied collage with another GNPS member, artist and arts educator, Susan Newmark Fleminger. The collage program was sponsored by The Su Casa Arts Program for Seniors of the Brooklyn Arts Council.
