Good Neighbors of Park Slope (GNPS) is an all volunteer, non-profit, aging-in-place organization, open to residents of Park Slope and surrounding areas who are age 50 and over. Our goal is to create a network of members to make life in our neighborhood easier and more fulfilling, while maintaining our autonomy and quality of life in our homes.

On May 21st Ben Yee, Secretary of the NY County Democratic Party and State Committeeman for NY’s 66th Assembly District, presented a civics workshop, "Organizing 101", for GNPS at Sterling Bank.
Thank you Ben for giving us practical and realistic information and insights we can use to effectively advocate for issues important to our membership.
And thank you Sterling Bank for providing the space that made this event possible.
On May 19th the play "Murray Hill Unchained" written by GNPS member Rob Belchere and produced by GNPS members Josie Williams and James Williams was presented at Spoke the Hub.
Joyce Jed attended with her husband and wrote,
"Arnie and I just saw the play reading and it was great. We both loved it!"

On May 9th, we were treated to an illustrated lecture on THE HISTORY OF PROSPECT PARK given by Amy Peck, the archivist and historian for the Prospect Park Alliance.

And thank you Jasmine Melzer for arranging this event for us.
On May 15th, Jules Peemoeller conducted another successful walking tour. This time the group went to Hudson Yards.
